Free Movies In McCarren Park

Skip (night) school this summer and hang out with Bueller in McCarren Park where the free movies return for the 2011 season.
Starting July 6th and continuing each Wednesday thereafter for the rest of summer, you'll be able to catch some classics on the big screen in the McCarren Park ball fields. There will be blood beer, tacos and other snacky items around for purchase, but you'll have to supply your own blanket or low-slung lawn chair.
All of this was organized by the crew over at L Magazine in partnership with IFC Film, Fandango, Sixpoint Craft Ales, and the Open Space Alliance.
