OK, so it’s not in Brooklyn, but every now and again there is something that happens outside of our fair borough that’s worth an emphatic nod – especially when so many of the organizers make Brooklyn the best music, arts and party scene in the city. Enter The Palms, a month-long party collaboration between 3rd Ward, Macro-Sea, TheDanger, Artists Wanted and Chashama, with musical bookings by Meanred Productions and OkayAfrica / OkayPlayer.
Every weekend from Saturday, August 13th through Labor Day, The Palms will play host to some of the best talent the East Coast has to offer. They provide the drinks, the lounge chairs, the booming sound and the pristine dumpster pools. You will dance, drink, swim, and enjoy.
The 15,000 sq ft outdoor party area will include three pools, cabanas, lounge chairs, live music, and a rotating menu from NYC’s best food trucks (including Luke’s Lobster and Mexicue). To boot, there is a 4,300sqft indoor lounge.
