The Natural Wine Co. will be opening this Saturday, November 20th on the southside of McCarren park with a full selection of natural wines. The store will carry wines made using organic farming principles, sustainable agriculture and minimal intervention at the winery - otherwise known as a "bio-dynamic approach."
The stores owners, Michael Andrews, Ross Bingham and Rebecca Pridmore are firm believers in the natural wine principals and supporters of the small farms producing these unique wines. According to our local wine expert, Brian Quinn of The Noble Rot, "you can certainly taste the difference in the glass" of natural wine.
The Natural Wine Company is located at. 211 N.11th St. between Driggs and Roebling and will carry a selection of natural wines produced around the world. To add to the unique environment, the walls of the shop will be decorated with works from local artists and will feature regular community tasting hosted by natural winemakers and a knowledgeable staff of eonophiles.
The store will also have an online presence at www.naturalwine.com and will provide feature articles, recommendations and other natural wine related content for the interested user.
