Red Star will host the GREENPOINT BEER FESTIVAL with the kick-off set for 2:00pm on Saturday, November 6, 2010.
The festival will be a day-long celebration of suds and sounds, featuring 33 craft and micro-brews from around the world, as well as an extensive showcase of local musicians and other performers running late into the evening in Red Star’s upstairs event space.
The impressive variety of specialty brews from over 15 local, national and international breweries includes Blue Point, Troeg’s, Keegan, 21st Amendment and more, as well as offerings from Brooklyn’s own Kelso and Six Point. The Brooklyn Brewery will be debuting their latest “Brewmaster Reserve,” the much-anticipated Cuvee Noire. Festival attendees will be able to sample up to six of these top-tier beers for just $20.
In addition to libations, the Greenpoint Beer Festival will also feature live music (rock, blues, jam) and other performances all day and evening, thanks largely to the Brooklyn Guitar School, located on the Boerum Hill / Park Slope border.
On the docket headlining RED STAR’S upstairs event space for Saturday November 6th will be “The Professionals,” “The Michelangelo Experience,” and “The Jon LaDeau Trio” as well as spoken word performances by Tamara Saliva and Mark Anthony Vigo.
