Around 7:45pm this evening four men in the Shomrim volunteer security force were shot near 49th Street and Tenth Avenue in Borough Park. They were tailing a suspicious vehicle for a few blocks, and when they approached the man opened fire.
One suffered a gunshot to the stomach, one took a a bullet in the neck, two were hit in the hand. During the shooting the four unarmed men managed to wrestle the weapon away and pin the assailant until real cops were able to arrive on the scene. All four men are expected to survive.
