The signs are there so now you know where to go. You don’t even have to be literate to figure out these ones.
Unfortunately, the new signs are only present at the split moving from Manhattan into Brooklyn whereas there are no signs posted moving from Brooklyn into Manhattan. The commute is already far smoother with the reduction in mixed traffic so lets hope for full signage soon at the Brooklyn entrances for a quick and safe crossing.
